Don't Grow Weary in Doing Good Galatians Pt. 32

Christ Church IL Season 12 Episode 32

As we conclude our study in Galatians, Paul leaves us with a powerful challenge: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9). These words speak to two kinds of people:

1️⃣ Those who are coasting—living for themselves and underestimating the eternal impact of their choices ("A man reaps what he sows")
2️⃣ Those who are weary—serving, sacrificing, and wondering if it’s worth it

This passage meets us where we are. Whether we need a wake-up call to live with eternal purpose or encouragement to keep going when ministry feels hard, Paul’s words remind us: Our faithfulness matters.

In this video, we explore:

  • Why short-term thinking leads to spiritual complacency
  • How to persevere when serving feels discouraging
  • The promise of eternal reward for those who don’t give up
  • Personal stories of when "do not grow weary" was exactly what I needed to hear

If you’ve ever felt frustrated in doing good—or if you’ve been tempted to coast spiritually—this message is for you. Let’s fix our eyes on eternity and keep sowing for the harvest to come.
